About the 2010 Broadway Teachers Workshop

8 Workshops Sessions including: Directing young actors, Choreography for non dancers, Stage Make-Up, Stage Combat, Technical Theatre, Path to Broadway: meet the Broadway performers and discuss their educational paths, Musical Theatre Auditions, text work with your students, Improv...
And NEW for 2010: a special track for returning students to include workshops such as directing techniques, Acting techniques, Playwrighting, Thinking theatrical, Prop design, Careers in the theatre, and more!

Session A: July 8 – 10, 2010 *SOLD OUT*

Tuition: $599 (before April 1) and $649 (after April 1), which includes 8 workshop sessions and your ticket to four shows.
Graduate credit: Participants in the Broadway Teachers Workshop may elect to earn 3 graduate credits through the UNLV Theatre department. There is a written assignment and an additional tuition fee payable to UNLV of approximately $1000 (based on 2009 tuition fees) including all out of state and distance learning fees. Registration for credits begins in March and is done on line directly through UNLV once you have already registered and been accepted to the Broadway Teachers Workshop. Pricing will be finalized in early January.
Upon completion of the Workshop, you will receive a letter of certification to validate your participation in 30 professional development hours with BTW.
