UNLV Graduate Credit Information

Participants in the Broadway Teachers Workshop can earn 3 graduate credits through the UNLV Theatre department. There is a written assignment and an additional tuition fee payable to UNLV of $1080.75 (including all out of state and distance learning fees). Registration for credits is done online directly through UNLV once you have already registered and been accepted to the Broadway Teachers Workshop (see steps below.)

Steps to apply for UNLV Graduate Credit
Register for: THTR 793 901 (7/6/10 - 8/6/10)
(*If you are a returning student and need to register under a different course number, you may do so by registering for graduate independent study.  Please contact ann.mcdonough@unlv.edu for further information on this alternative option.)

1. Apply online as a non-degree-seeking student (http://graduatecollege.unlv.edu/admissions/)
Note: It usually takes 2 days for an application to be processed.

2. You then need to get cleared by the Graduate College by calling 702-895-3320. They will provide your "L number".

3. Once you have your L#, go to online registration.

4.Enter your L# and, when prompted, enter your University generated PIN number (your birth date, YYMM - two digit year, 2 digit month).
Note: The first time you log in, you will have to change your PIN number, then log out and log in again.

5. Once you have logged in again, go to "Summer 2010, ADD/DROP course", and type in the Call number: 30458.

6. You must pay by July 2, 2010 to avoid a late fee. If you decide not to take the course, you must drop it by July 2, 2010. You can pay through the online registration system UNLV ePay, however, you will need to know your balance due, because ePay will not. (You can find your balance due from the "Semester Charge" screen on Online Registration.)

7. Registration for non-degree-seeking students begins Friday, April 2, 2010. The last day to add the course without a late fee is Friday, July 2, 2010. The last day to add the course with a $25 per day late fee is Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

8. Once you have registered for the course, you must contact the professor, Ann McDonough (ann.mcdonough@unlv.edu) for information regarding the class policies and syllabus.
